The Government provides schools with PE. and Sport Funding, this supports schools in developing the PE and sport curriculum. Our funding entitlement is £18,503. So far this has been used provide new resources and enriching children’s physical activity in the wider community by organising and traveling to sport venues and events including; golf, fitbox and rugby. Covering the costs of transport, the funding has also enabled us to take part in more competitions across the authority, widening the children’s experiences of meeting children from different cultural and socioeconomic groups. Alongside developing skills and confidence in competitive and non-competitive sports. This additional funding enhances opportunities for us to develop personal and social skills in our children.
