Early Year & Key Stage 1 Teachers

My name is Miss Albiston and I am the Foundation Stage Leader here at Bewsey Lodge. I currently teach in Reception where I love supporting some of our youngest children as they embark on their journey in to school life. I am incredibly proud of the work we do in the Early Years, our children’s thirst for knowledge and passion for learning is always inspiring.

Hi, my name is Miss Matthews and I am currently teaching in reception orange. I have a passion for early years and love watching the children learn and thrive in all areas of development. I am thoroughly enjoying my time here at Bewsey Lodge and look forward to making more memories and watching the children develop further.

I am Mr Geaney, I am in my fourth year of teaching and I am one of the Year 1 teachers. I am really looking forward to getting to know children throughout the school. I can't wait to help the children develop in lots of different ways. I am really passionate in helping children to reach their goals through fun and exciting ways.

My name is Mrs Mullen and I am currently one of the Year 1 teachers at Bewsey Lodge Primary School. My responsibilities within the school include; leading PE as well as SENDCO support, this involves leading on the delivery and impact of interventions across the school.

My name is Miss Kearns and I'm so happy to be one of the teachers for Year 1 and 2 at Bewsey Lodge. I've had the pleasure of teaching at Bewsey Lodge for over 6 years where I've had the privilege of working with children in both KS1 and KS2. I have been teaching for around 10 years now and have a background in teaching English as an additional language, working mostly in South Korea at the beginning of my teaching journey. I am also the Senior Mental Health Lead at Bewsey. In this role, I oversee and monitor the mental health and wellbeing of the children and staff at the school and organise interventions where necessary. Catering to the complex emotional needs of our children in this way is something I am truly passionate about and I strive to make a difference wherever I can.

My name is Mrs Hopson and I am an Assistant Head here at Bewsey Lodge School. I am the Phase leader for years 1-3 and I love working with the children in these classes. I am very lucky to teach in Year 2 and I am always very proud of the children in my class and what they achieve. I lead PSHE and SMSC across the whole school which means I get to see lots of fabulous work from every class and I also get to see what wonderful children we have in our school.
