Disability Awareness Month

July is disability awareness month in Warrington. Mrs Jones did an assembly to talk about how important disability awareness day is and how important it is for people to be seen no matter what. She talked about visible and invisible disability and the children were very knowledgeable about inclusion.

Year six had a really good interview with Brad from Warrington Wolves wheelchair rugby team who has Cerebral palsy, ASC and ADHD. They were really impressed with his stories about all he has achieved and how he feels people with disabilities are viewed in society. They asked some brilliant questions and were really in awe of how Brad had competed in so many tournaments and gained so many medals
