Flute Tuition 

Pupils from Year 5 and 6 have the opportunity to sign up for Flute lessons which are led by our resident music specialist, Mrs Stuart. In the sessions, children develop their musicianship skills through playing the flute and learning musical theory so that they become confident in understanding and performing musical notation. They also have opportunities to use these skills to compose music of their own. Additionally, they can progress towards taking ABRSM examinations should they wish to.

Pupils have the opportunity to perform together and support each other in their learning through peer group work.

Each week we play musical games to develop our musicianship skills and help us play accurately and fluently.

Performances

We have many opportunities to perform throughout the year including assemblies, the Bewsey Music Festival and Bewsey’s Got Talent.
